DIESEL week continues with this totally tubular screensaver. A neon spaceship meets big brother is about the only way I can describe it. Slightly disturbing, oddly compelling. Enough with the adjectives, take a look and decide for yourself.

Diesel filled a room with fresh beefcake. Sprayed them with perfume (the brave part me thinks). Then made them all sit in corner and have their picture taken. Not my cup of tea, but if you fancy lightly scented handsome men with opaque expressions, this may be just the ticket.

Abstraction from Diesel. Light painting and pulses of organic and geometric shapes along with some new age sounding music. I have no idea what this is all about, but it is oddly hypnotic.

G-Force 3D from Disney Digital

Gadgets. Gizmos. Guinea Pigs. Yes it's action hero Guinea Pigs, only Disney could pull this off, and they just might have. An entertaining screensaver with Guineas climbing the screen (and falling off), doing some Tom Cruise style M.I. moves, and karate kicking (and breaking) your screen as well. Worth a look.

Manchester City Fixtures

The city of Manchester in the U.K. have built a very nice dynamic screensaver that pulls in the schedule for upcoming games at their stadium. It also includes a dynamic news feed.

Nike ID - Into The City

Build your own sneaker, then use it to paint the town - or something like that. This screensaver is part of Nike Japan's Nike ID site, where you get to custom color a shoe among other things. The screensaver line draws a cityscape (while playing nice ambient city sounds), which is then colored by three erstwhile caped anime crusaders.

Well worth a look - you need to visit the site and color your own show in order to get to the downloads section.

Rock Clock - yes with rocks

When you hear "Rock Clock" you probably think Rock, as in the music, but no this really is a Rock-Clock. Rocks for hands, rocks for numbers, all gently floating over clouds and other landscapes.

District 9 - They are not Human

The aliens came to earth 30 years ago - as refugees from their planet - MNU (multi national united) is contracted to keep them in check, but things do not go according to plan. This movie has had a viral web campaign going for almost 2 years, promoting among other things non-human rights. Other web sites have postings in alien languages (but come with translators).
